National Pet Day

It’s National Pet Day! We don’t have pets any more, but others’ pets come and stay with us when their humans can’t care for them. Some stay overnight and others for days, weeks, even months.

They need lots of attention and care because they feel abandoned, and it’s not the first time in their lives it’s happened. It makes us happy to give loving kindness to them, and of course, we get a lot from them too.

They come in all shapes, sizes, and colors. We’re finding that every dog is beautiful, in their own way.
